Lotteries Day In Vienna’s Museum Quarter
On June 23, a particularly extensive offer is waiting for all culture lovers.
kunsthalle wien, Leopold Museum, mumok: on Lotteries Day on Friday, June 23, Austrian Lotteries invites all lottery participants to Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier (MQ) to make this a day for art and art lovers. Anyone with a lottery receipt or a break-open or scratch-off ticket gets free admission. Tickets for the museums, the guided tours and the Escape Room will be issued at the Austrian Lotteries stand at the MQ Point near the main entrance.
Austrian Lotteries’ participants can also enjoy guided tours: the curator’s tour with chief curator Verena Kaspar Eisert focuses on the public art installations. The MQ used to be the imperial court stables. The “Fischer von Erlach Tour” offers insights into the building planning of this famous baroque architect and the development of the area, while the “Secret MQ Tour” immerses participants in the unknown secrets of this area. Last but not least, the Escape Room deals with the topic of child poverty. The number of participants is limited. All information is available at www.lotterientag.at.
