LOTTERIES DAY “AUSTRIAN FILM AWARD ON TOUR”

On October 12, award-winning films will be screened free of charge throughout Austria

In keeping with our guiding principle “Practicing Responsibility Together!”, Austrian Lotteries has a tradition of social commitment, responsibility and, above all, consistency. Together with the Academy of Austrian Cinema, the “Austrian Film Award on Tour” Lotteries Day was launched last year in order to fulfil the Academy’s long-held wish and bring the film award to the provinces as well.

On Thursday, October 12, 2022, the following award-winning films will be screened in selected art house cinemas throughout Austria: tickets will be allocated in the cinemas while stocks last. Upon presentation of an Austrian Lotteries product, the award-winning films of the 2023 Austrian Film Awards will be shown free of charge in the following categories: Best Feature Film: Vera, Best Documentary: Elfriede Jelinek – Die Sprache von der Leine lassen (Language Unleashed), Best Short Film: Will my parents come to see me.
