Lotteries Day at the Natural History Museum on November 21
Free admission to the “Two Views of Plants” exhibition at the Natural History Museum with a betting slip or lottery ticket
On Friday, November 21, Austrian Lotteries is offering free admission to Vienna’s Natural History Museum (NHM) to anyone with a break-open or scratch-off ticket or any betting slip game receipt. From 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, visitors can also take in the “Two Views of Plants” exhibition and get to know plants from an unusual perspective.
In this special exhibition, the Natural History Museum Vienna presents 3D photos by internationally renowned cameraman, director, and photographer Sebastian Cramer. 3D glasses will be made available to see these images in a whole new way. In his work, Cramer focuses on the beauty of plants and shows how they are preserved in herbariums. On Lotteries Day, free guided tours of this exhibition will be offered at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
Austrian Lotteries also offers special tours focussing on language-sensitive communication for 125 children from underprivileged backgrounds.
