Tracking "Foodprints" on Lotteries Day
On February 18, visit the "Foodprints" exhibition at the Technical Museum for free
It's a basic human need, but it's also an expression of lifestyle and pleasure: on the next Lotteries Day on Friday, February 18, 2022, Lottery players can embark on an exciting journey through the history and future of the global food system at the "Foodprints" exhibition at the Vienna Museum of Science & Technology. All the senses will be in demand in the highlight of the exhibition, the interactive educational area "tasteLAB".
On Lotteries Day, there will be three guided tours with a limited number of participants: 10:15 am: "Nachhaltiges Essen" ("Sustainable Food"), 11:15 am: "Vom Mehl zur Semmel – wer macht was?" ("From Flour to Bread – Who Makes What?") and 1:30 pm: "Hochspannungsvorführung" ("High Voltage Demonstration"). Detailed information can be found at lotterientag.at. Culture should be accessible to everyone: Austrian Lotteries makes it possible for the Red Cross Learning House and people with dementia to enjoy guided tours of the exhibition. On Lotteries Day, the museum is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
