The Lotteries Day has welcomed its 200,000th guest
A woman from Vienna received a surprise gift basket at Schönbrunn Zoo
With over 8,300 visitors, the Lotteries Day at Schönbrunn Zoo on October 3 was a great success, as expected, and also marked a special milestone in what is perhaps the oldest and most beautiful zoo in the world: Austrian Lotteries welcomed the 200,000th visitor to a Lotteries Day: Margit Kauder from Vienna, who happened to be in the right place at the right time in the queue at the entrance, was given this honour while accompanied by her family. She was presented with a gift basket as a goodie bag, filled with Austrian Lotteries products and a stuffed panda bear.
The Lotteries Days were launched for lottery players in 2010 in order to facilitate easy access to culture, education, nature and entertainment for all sections of the population and make a contribution to the common good. On certain dates, people with an Austrian Lotteries product receive free admission to highly regarded museums, theatres, cabaret and film performances, as well as popular leisure facilities.
The next Lotteries Days are November 6 (Film Prize on Tour) and November 21 (Natural History Museum Vienna). All information can be found at lotterientag.at.
