The 2026 Cabaret Talent Show was a huge hit at the Mirage in Vienna

The Cabaret Talent Show, powered by Austrian Lotteries, once again showed itself to be a reliable platform to help newcomers launch their careers.

This year, Nina Hartmann once again revealed exceptional talents from Austria’s cabaret, comedy and satire scene. She was supported by a distinguished panel of judges consisting of cabaret icons such as Tricky Niki, Herbert Haider from the Comedy Hirten group, Herbert Steinböck and Flo und Wisch. 

On June 2 and 3, seven talented individuals were given an opportunity to present their cabaret skills. Six of these will ultimately have a chance to perform at the Vienna Cabaret Festival, which takes place in the Arkadenhof of Vienna City Hall from July 25 to July 31. Here, they will share the stage with established artists from the cabaret scene and entertain up to 1,400 guests each evening. The Cabaret Talent Show will be broadcast on ORF III on June 18, 2026, at 9.55 pm.
