The 2025 Inclusion Award: eight lighthouse projects honoured
Launched in 2016 by Austrian Lotteries together with the Lebenshilfe Austria organisation, the annual Austrian Inclusion Award (Inklusionspreis) demonstrates what can be achieved when it comes to removing barriers for people with disabilities.
On December 2, Lebenshilfe Austria and Austrian Lotteries awarded prizes to eight innovative organisations and initiatives working towards a more inclusive society and the removal of barriers for people with disabilities.
Each year, Austrian Lotteries awards a sponsorship prize to one particularly outstanding project. This year, the 10,000 euro sponsorship award goes to the Right Now association for its “Disability Leadership” project, the first inclusive leadership training course in the German-speaking regions.
For the first time, the award ceremony took place in the Aula der Wissenschaften (Hall of Sciences) in Vienna and was once again hosted by ORF presenter Miriam Labus. A prominent jury selected the award winners from over 119 entries.
