New appointments to the Supervisory Board of Österreichische Lotterien Ges.m.b.H
There have been several major new appointments to the Supervisory Board of Österreichische Lotterien Ges.m.b.H. Wolfgang Hesoun, who already holds the presidency of the Österreichische Lotterien parent Casinos Austria AG, has been appointed Chairman. Going forward, previous Supervisory Board Chairman Robert Chvatal will support the company as Hesoun's deputy on the Supervisory Board.
New appointments include the former Director General of the Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries Group Bettina Glatz-Kremsner, who brings with her a wealth of experience from her service on numerous supervisory boards of other companies, as well as financial expert Katarina Kohlmayer, who was already on the Supervisory Board of Casinos Austria AG. Further new appointments are Hans Niessl, the former governor of the province of Burgenland and current president of the federal sports organisation Sport Austria, experienced financial manager Florian Saiko and the Director and Head of the Legal Department of ÖBAG, Aakriti Chandihock, who was nominated by the Federal Ministry of Finance.
These new appointments are the result of expiring Supervisory Board mandates of Josef Pröll, Harald Neumann, Leo Windtner and Elisabeth Stern.
“We are pleased to have engaged such distinguished personalities for our reorganisation of the Supervisory Board of Österreichische Lotterien, which is now complete. Wolfgang Hesoun is an experienced top manager who has already proven his abilities at Casinos Austria. Bettina Glatz-Kremsner, Katarina Kohlmayer and Aakriti Chandihock enrich the Supervisory Board with their years of experience and also contribute to better gender balance on the Board. For me, this is a very valuable and important step,” Allwyn CEO Robert Chvatal, as majority owner representative of Casinos Austria AG, the parent company of Österreichische Lotterien, remarked on the personnel changes.
“I am convinced that with this new Supervisory Board, Österreichische Lotterien is well positioned to push forward with upcoming strategic decisions,” ÖBAG Board Member Edith Hlawati said regarding the new appointments.
