Marcus Wadsak welcomes audiences to our Lotto Bonus Draw

On April 8, Fridays are now all about picking the right six numbers and a chance to win an extra 300,000 euros.

"Guten Abend beim Wetter" ("Good evening, here's the weather") is the familiar phrase we associate with Marcus Wadsak, the affable ORF weather expert, best-selling author and climate ambassador. On Friday, April 8, he will slip into the shoes of a presenter, and for once the weather will not play a significant role. And yet... we're talking about the month of April (known for its unpredictable weather) where anything is possible, and he may well be destined to be an expert when it comes to plain luck. Instead of an accurate weather forecast, he'll be delivering the six ever-important numbers of the Lotto bonus draw to living rooms across the country.

In this Lotto Bonus Draw, once again at least one million euros for the correct numbers will be at stake, and there's the extra prize of 300,000 euros that will be raffled off among all participating lottery tickets immediately after the Bonus Draw. The rules for the Bonus Draw are the same as for the Wednesday and Sunday draws: it is integrated into the cycle of lottery draws as a complete game round, and the LottoPlus and Joker draws take place at the same time. Any potential jackpots are also included in the round. The deadline for the Bonus Draw is Friday, April 8, 2022 at 6:30 pm, and the draw itself can be seen live on ORF 2 at 6:47 pm.
