Lottery receipts as well as scratch-off and break-open tickets can be used as admission tickets to the Upper and Lower Belvedere.

Vienna’s Belvedere Palace, built in the early 18th century, is a unique ensemble with two magnificent Baroque buildings. The Upper and Lower Belvedere, situated in the middle of extensive gardens in Vienna’s third district, is one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in the world as well as a leading international museum.
As part of Lotteries Day, Austrian Lotteries makes it possible for lottery participants to visit the world-famous art collections at the Belvedere for free on Friday, April 12. All you need to do is present a receipt or ticket of an Austrian Lotteries game.
In the Lower Belvedere, for example, you can see the “In the Eye of the Storm” exhibition, which covers the turbulent and fascinating history of Ukraine’s cultural identity.
The Upper Belvedere goes into this aspect in great detail with “Schau! Die Sammlung Belvedere von Cranach bis EXPORT” (“Look! The Belvedere Collection from Cranach to EXPORT”) and addresses this interesting interplay between society and the arts.
Both of these buildings can also be visited in the form of guided tours. From 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, there are tours for the blind and visually impaired as well as for people with dementia and associated issues along with their carers. Detailed information can be found at lotterientag.at or belvedere.at.
