Austrian Lotteries supports the Special Olympics

With 1,800 athletes, 600 coaches, 800 volunteers and competitions across 20 sports disciplines, the 9th National Special Olympics Summer Games will be one of Austria’s largest inclusive sports events.

From June 25 to 30, Vienna will host a very special sports event: the 9th National Special Olympics Summer Games bring together athletes from all over the country – while showcasing inclusion in action. The focus is on athletic achievements that go far beyond the medals. People with intellectual disabilities are demonstrating what can be achieved through sheer dedication, passion and team spirit – and in doing so, they inspire people both at the event... and far beyond.

Austrian Lotteries has been a partner in the sports sector for 40 years and has also continuously acted as a reliable partner to the Special Olympics movement since 1993 – a commitment based on a clear set of values.

As a Bronze Partner of the 2026 Summer Games, Austrian Lotteries is once again playing its part in making this special sports event a reality and in ensuring that inclusion continues to be practiced actively throughout the country.
