Austria is looking for its “Athlete with a Heart”

In the world of sports, trophies are generally associated with exceptional performances and top rankings. Thanks to Austrian Lotteries, there is also an award for social commitment: together with Sports Media Austria and Sporthilfe, they launched the “Athlete with a Heart” award back in 2013.
You now have until Sunday, September 6 to submit proposals for social initiatives that you consider worthy of this recognition. To submit an entry, simply enter your contact details as well as a brief project description on the www.sporthilfe.at/sportlermitherz website.
The winner of this prize, initiated by Austrian Lotteries and endowed with a prize money of 10,000 euros, will be decided by an online vote. The winner will be honoured at what is by far the largest and most important charity event in the Austrian sports scene, the LOTTERIEN Sporthilfe Gala in October.
