Austria is looking for its “Athlete with a Heart”

In the world of sports, trophies are generally associated with exceptional performances and top rankings. Thanks to Austrian Lotteries, there is also an award for social commitment: together with Sports Media Austria and Sporthilfe, they launched the “Athlete with a Heart” award back in 2013.

You now have time until Sunday, August 31 to submit proposals for social initiatives that you consider worthy of this recognition. All you need to do is send your contact details and a brief description of the project to sportlermitherz@sporthilfe.at.

The winner of this prize, initiated by Austrian Lotteries and endowed with a prize of 10,000 euros, will be decided by an online vote. The winner will be honoured in October at the LOTTERIEN Sporthilfe Gala, which is by far the largest and most important charity event in the Austrian sports scene.
