Austria for Life – A journey through time for a good cause

Austrian Lotteries and Casinos Austria are main sponsors of the charity show on April 29

“Austria for Life” is a charity show in which great performers such as the rock band WANDA, the singer and songwriter Ina Regen, the opera singer Anna Netrebko, the rapper Yasmo, this year’s song contest participants Teya & Salena, the actors Karl Markovics, Cornelius Obonya and Kristina Sprenger as well as the musician and cabaret artist Marco Pogo perform for a good cause. They present a musical-acting foray through Austria’s history and highlight parallels to the present. All donations benefit projects of the aid platform “Österreich hilft Österreich” (“Austria helps Austria”).

These projects (support for families, for securing livelihoods, learning and educational support as well as psychosocial counselling) are implemented throughout Austria by Caritas, Diakonie, Hilfswerk, Rotes Kreuz, Volkshilfe and Samariterbund, all of which have joined forces to form the initiative ÖSTERREICH HILFT ÖSTERREICH.

The “Austria for Life” Gala will take place on Saturday, April 29 in the Ehrenhof at Schönbrunn Palace, and Austrian Lotteries and Casinos Austria will be the main sponsors.
