Anyone taking part in LottoPlus from July onwards will automatically be entered into two draws (per round)

LottoPlus is about to become even more interesting: as of July 8, anyone who ticks the LottoPlus box when playing the “6 out of 45” Lotto will automatically be entered into two LottoPlus draws per draw day (round). You just need to tick ONE box – and you’ll be entered into both prize draws. So a single bet gives you twice the excitement and, more importantly, your odds of winning double automatically. 

This expansion is made possible because of an increase in the price from €0.50 to €0.80 per LottoPlus pick. At the same time, the prize structure will be revised: this applies to each draw independently, so that players have two opportunities to win in each prize tier – from the top prize down to the fixed prizes in the lower tiers. 

The payout rate for LottoPlus will be adjusted from 48.8% to 45%, and for the Lotto it will be reduced from 48.8% to 48%. This is all due to an increase in statutory fees, and these changes are intended to ensure the long-term stability of the game.

At the same time, now that the second draw is introduced, TeamTipp will be discontinued for Lotto, EuroMillions and Toto. Existing betting slips can continue to be scanned, while new betting slips will be updated gradually.
