There is still some time until Halloween, but Austrian Lotteries’ retail outlets are already well prepared. The “Glückskürbis” (“Lucky Pumpkin”) scratch-off ticket gives you a chance to win in advance, so maybe this year’s Halloween party will be a little bigger. The main prize is 30,000 euros.

Each ticket offers two chances to win. Certain amounts of money are printed under the large scratch area. If you reveal the same amount three times on the same scratch-off ticket, you win that amount once. The top prize is 30,000 euros and is included twice in this series of 1,620,000 tickets. There is also a bonus game that gives you a second chance to win. If you reveal the pumpkin symbol three times, you win six euros; if you reveal the bat symbol three times, you win three euros.

The Halloween scratch-off ticket can be purchased at Austrian Lotteries’ retail outlets for three euros. The payout rate is 56% percent and the chance of winning is 1:2.98.
