A 130-million-euro (at least) Friday is coming up
On December 5, EuroMillions players will be vying for a prize worth over 100 million euros.
An exciting week is shaping up for EuroMillions: on Friday, December 5, the prize for “5 plus 2 correct picks”, i.e. for the 1st prize tier, will be upward of 100 million euros, even if the Europot is cracked by then. The third Superpot of the year is coming up, and that means that – if needed – EuroMillions will increase the winning prize for “5 plus 2 correct picks” to 130 million euros on this day.
Austrian Lotteries is also repeating the “7 plus 1” promotion campaign: if you check at least seven picks on your betting slip or play quick picks, you will receive an additional free pick.
Incidentally, the first of the three previous EuroMillions record prizes was won in Austria following a Superpot. One player won the EuroMillions jackpot of 250 million euros via win2day at the end of March this year. In mid-June, 250 million euros were won in Ireland, and the same amount in August in France.
EuroMillions can be played at all Austrian Lotteries retail outlets as well as on win2day.at and the Lotteries app. The closing date for this draw is at 8:00 pm on December 5.
