Winning tickets were played in Lower Austria, Styria and Burgenland

Two Joker winners score more than EUR 186,000 each in Lower Austria and via win2day

The second eightfold jackpot in the 40-year history of Lotto has been cracked. Unlike the first one in mid-July, this time there were three winners, each of whom can now look forward to more than EUR 3.6 million. The winning tickets were sold in Lower Austria, Styria and Burgenland.

While the six winning numbers, 2, 7, 11, 16, 34 and 42, were selected on standard tickets in Lower Austria and Styria, the winning Lotto six in Burgenland was achieved with a Quicktip. In Lower Austria, it was the second of two played tips, in Burgenland the fifth of six Quicktips, and in Styria the second of a total of ten tips, all of which have now become tickets to the exclusive club of Lotto millionaires.

As a result, Wednesday’s Lotto draw will once again start with the standard jackpot of EUR 1.2 million for the Lotto six.

Several players also won with five numbers plus the additional number. More than EUR 44,000 will go twice to Lower Austria and twice to win2day players, while one additional prize each was won in Vorarlberg, Vienna and Upper Austria.

LottoPlus

There was no LottoPlus six in either of the two draws. As a result, the prize pool allocated to the six-number prize category was distributed among the LottoPlus fives.

In the first draw, the 105 LottoPlus fives each receive EUR 4,760. In the second draw, the 107 LottoPlus fives each receive EUR 4,671. In the next LottoPlus round on Wednesday, EUR 80,000 will once again be up for grabs per draw.

Joker

There were also multiple winners in the Joker draw. More than EUR 186,000 each will go to a winner in Lower Austria and to a win2day player. Both winning Joker selections were placed on EuroMillions standard tickets.
