Wien Work in its 40th year 

Austrian Lotteries has supported this important institution for more than 15 years.

Finding a good job is enormously challenging for people with physical or intellectual impairments and those who have been out of work for a long time. Wien Work has been successfully tackling this issue for 40 years with focused support measures and professional assistance in finding a suitable job. And Wien Work itself also employs some 700 staff members.
Offering a wide range of first-class services, Wien Work is an important partner for the economy. Whether it’s a laundry centre, custom-made built-in furniture, fitter’s shop, furniture upholstery, green space or digital media services – the areas of application are diverse. And Michl’s Restaurant in Vienna’s 1st district heralded the start of operations in the hospitality sector in 2005, which is when Austrian Lotteries began providing its support. Our company is extremely proud to be a small part of this exceptional institution and to contribute to giving people with very different backgrounds a fair chance in life.
