Partnership with Paralympic Committee
Austrian Lotteries congratulates the Austrian team on their nine medals.
The Austrian Paralympic Committee (ÖPC) and Austrian Lotteries can not just look back on a partnership lasting almost 20 years, but also shared the excitement of the athletes who celebrated such sensational successes at the Tokyo Paralympic Summer Games: with their total of six medals, the hand cyclists Walter Ablinger (one gold, one bronze), Thomas Frühwirth (two times silver) and Alexander Gritsch (two times bronze) demonstrated impressively that the Austrians are a force to be reckoned with in this sport. Together with the successful performances of dressage rider Pepo Puch (two silver medals) and the silver medal earned by triathlete Florian Brungraber, the Austrian Paralympic team took home a total of nine medals. Austrian Lotteries warmly congratulates them on their successes and wishes them all the best as they prepare for the next Summer Games in Paris in 2024.
