Corruption doesn't stand a chance. Responsibility and honesty are our guiding principles.
The Code of Conduct is the central behavioural guideline of Austrian Lotteries. It summarises the most important legal and internal regulations regarding player protection, data protection, privacy, anti-corruption and corporate social responsibility. All basic principles and rules of behaviour to which we have pledged by way of this voluntary commitment apply for our employees in their daily interaction with each other as well as for our business partners.
Self-check: Conflicts of interest and corruption
We do not tolerate corruption and take serious measures in case of violations. All employees are obligated not to offer, promise, grant or approve direct or indirect donations, financial privileges or other benefits in relation to their business activities in order to gain an advantage for themselves or the company. Demanding such donations or financial privileges by business partners or other third parties must be rejected and instantly reported to a superior.
Our anti-corruption regulations are available in our intranet and are communicated to all employees by means of mandatory training courses. Additionally, we have established a system that allows employees to anonymously report suspected cases of violations of these regulations. A self-test that must be completed by all managing-level staff members every year offers an additional possibility of self-monitoring in cases of doubt.
For us, regularly communicating our compliance regulations internally is a matter of course. Only in this way we can strengthen the awareness of all employees and managers regarding a behaviour compliant to the rules.Michael Mrak
