The end of Lotto TeamTipp: how to keep playing together
Playing together, winning together — that is what TeamTipp used to stand for in Lotto “6 aus 45”, EuroMillions and Toto. In July 2026, it was time to say goodbye: TeamTipp was discontinued. Here you can find out what this means in concrete terms and which alternatives are available in future for everyone who enjoys hoping for a win as part of a group.
A chapter comes to an end: TeamTipp is discontinued
For many years, TeamTipp made it possible to play tips together with others and share any potential winnings. That era has now come to an end: participation with TeamTipp is no longer possible for Lotto, EuroMillions and Toto. As the three games are drawn on different days, participation ended in stages: for Toto with the round on 1 July 2026, for EuroMillions with the draw on 3 July 2026 and for Lotto with the draw on 5 July 2026. However, existing TeamTipp tickets submitted before the respective cut-off date can still be read in.
Your alternative to TeamTipp: the share ticket
If you would still like to hope for a win together with many others rather than on your own, the share ticket offers a possible alternative to TeamTipp. Instead of playing a single tip, you buy a share in an entire tip pool and thereby increase your chances of winning without paying the full price for every individual tip. If there is a win, you participate according to the number of shares you hold. This playing option is available for both Lotto and EuroMillions.
Lotto share ticket: a systematic way to try your luck
With the Lotto share ticket, you can choose between Chance L, XL and XXL, which differ in the number of tips and shares played. The numbers are selected by a random number generator, and every share ticket also includes automatic participation in LottoPlus. Depending on the chance selected, you can secure up to five shares, with more shares also meaning a higher prize amount. If you would like one ticket to cover several draws at once, simply choose the desired playing period of up to ten rounds.
EuroMillions share ticket: winning big together
With the EuroMillions share ticket, you can also benefit from the advantages of system play without having to pay the full cost of a EuroMillions system ticket. Here, too, you can choose from three chances, which differ in the number of tips and shares. On your ticket, you select between one and five shares per chance and also decide how many draws you would like to take part in. If EuroMillions — or Lotto — alone is not enough, you can also tick the Joker box up to ten times on the same ticket and secure an independent, additional chance to win.
Stronger together
Even though TeamTipp is now a thing of the past, no one has to miss out on the shared playing experience. With the share ticket, Lotto and EuroMillions continue to offer an exciting way to participate in a large number of tips. You can find more interesting facts about our games and their different options in the Lotterien Stories. And as always: play responsibly and only with money you can afford to lose.
