One of the most popular projects supported by Austrian Lotteries in cooperation with Vienna's Schönbrunn Zoo is called "Project Panda".

Austrian Lotteries sees it as a part of their social and socio-political responsibility to support issues and projects that are recognised and desired by society.
Under the slogan “A win for everyone” we sponsor numerous projects and initiatives in the areas of nature and environment, health, humanitarian concerns, sport, arts as well as culture, economy, science and research.
In total, around 2.1 million Euro in sponsoring funds were made available in 2009. Together with the promotion of sports included in the Gambling Act (71.34 million Euro in 2009) as well as media support (22.1 million Euro in 2009), the total amount came up to 95.54 million Euro.
